A great program was presented at the PFRA meeting on August 16th.  Retired Assistant Chief Kirk Owen along with PFRA members Jeff Allbritten, Marcia Hurst, and Bill Carroll sat as a panel and discussed the restoration of the department’s 1982 American La France fire engine back in 2003-2004. The beautiful engine is now housed at and cared for by Station 12 and used in parades and sadly, for firefighter funerals.
