On the weekend of April 5, 2025, PFRA member Troy Shull (@JTShullbooks) ran 100 miles as a fundraiser in our efforts to support Plano firefighters. Troy’s 100 mile route had him visiting all 13 Plano fire stations twice! He also endured some nasty weather, with torrential rain and heavy winds, and he even suffered stress fractures in his legs, but he still pressed on and was able accomplish this huge goal!
Here is a video recap of the 100 mile run. Says Troy, “My 100 mile run took me to all 13 fire stations in Plano. I wish I could’ve stayed longer at each stop and spent more time chatting with these amazing men and women. Over the decades, I have #run hundreds of races, but FIREHOUSE 100 is by far my most memorable one.”
