Congratulations to Plano Fire-Rescue for winning the 2023 Battle of the Badges!
This is Fire’s first win since 2006! 433 total votes were cast, with 137 going to Police and 296 going to Fire. Thank you to everyone who participated! This year’s donations equate to saving over 1,100 lives based on what was collected. The need for blood in North Texas is higher during the summer, so your help with donations is truly appreciated.
On Saturday, April 29th, 2023, PFRA hosted a large breakfast for over 30 retired Plano firefighters and their spouses at the Plano Fire Training center. This was the first of what we hope will become an annual event. The food was great, and the fellowship was even better.
