Attention Plano firefighters – who wants to win a Big Green Egg grill? Thanks to a special donor, PFRA is raffling off a Big Green Egg with all ticket sales benefiting the PFRA Scholarship Program. Raffle tickets are $20 each and there are only 150 tickets available. When all the tickets are sold, we will hold the drawing for the winner. Founded in 2003, the PFRA Scholarship Program has provided collegiate scholarships to the sons and daughters of the employees of Plano Fire-Rescue for the past fifteen years. Although our goal is to award three $1000 scholarships annually, the actual number of scholarships and amount of each varies depending upon available funds each year. This Big Green Egg raffle event will help increase our total scholarship budget for 2019 and possibly 2020.
